Organization at a glance

Moulvibazar Disabled Peoples’ Organization to Development (Moulvibazar DPOD) is an Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) working in Moulvibazar District of Bangladesh. It has been working since 1995 with direct involvement of the persons with disabilities.

The organization was started as a part of the approach titled Persons with Disabilities Self-Initiative to Development (PSID) of Bangladesh Protibandhi Kallyan Somity (BPKS) and through organizing persons with disabilities of the local areas.

Besides, the organization is striving for partnership with the mainstreaming organizations for Disability Inclusion in their programs through ensuring active and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities as well as providing capacity building and technical assistance.
